We had as our Guest Speaker, Geoff Wyatt, Acting Manager, Sydney Observatory / Powerhouse Museum.

The first VIC Regional meeting this year took place on Thursday 24 March at Alvie Hall on the corner of Alvie Road and High Street Road, Mt Waverley.
Our guest speaker was Alan Frost, emeritus professor of history at La Trobe University, Melbourne.
Alan has written many books and papers on the early history of Australia including one, which will be familiar to many members "The Voyage of the Endeavour". At the meeting, Alan spoke about his recently published book "Botany Bay the Real Story".
