Description:  
Concrete globe on which the three voyages of Captain Cook are traced.
The globe stands on a square concrete plinth.  It is sited near the point where Cook’s ship landed during the third voyage, at the head of Oplunohu Bay on Moorea Island.
History:  
Possibly erected in 1980. 
It is thought that this monument was placed here by a developer who was creating a new restaurant.
