Description:
Pillar monument with a plaque below the main inscription, this is located opposite the caravan park.
History:
This monument was provided by the Bruny Island Council with assistance from the Tasmanian State Government, and unveiled on 26th January, 1961,
The Endeavour Replica called in at Adventure Bay in November 1994, during her first long voyage, and so, in that year, an additional plaque was added commemorating the visit of the Endeavour Replica.
