Description: A square block of concrete, on the top of which is mounted a plaque. at Dayman Park “Upper”, and accessed via Service Road off Dayman Street, just at the intersection of James Street in Urangan. History: Erected by Hervey Bay City Council to commemorate Cook naming local places. Inscription: Plaque placed on top of the square block:
