CCS in the UK 2018

 

This year's meeting will be held at the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum, Marton, North Yorkshire, on Saturday, 20th October, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

It is recommended that people stay at The Sporting Lodge Inn, Stainton, Middlesbrough.
This venue is situated in a rural location, five km to the west of the museum.

10.30   1770 in 2020 by Mal Nicolson
11.15   Stockton’s Endeavour “sails” to Whitby by Ian Stubbs
12.15   Free time to explore the museum plus lunch (available in cafeteria)
14.00   A sailor’s life in the Georgian Navy by Richard Davison
15.00   Crossing the Line: the first stage of the Endeavour voyage by Phil Philo
16.00   Conclusion
