The evening meal at the Marton Hotel and Country Club was a pleasurable affair. Again, it is often the informal events that are the most rewarding for the exchange of ideas, research results and information. How nice it would be to have a conference-cum-meeting where there could be informed discussions of the wider issues surrounding Cook, but with more of the atmosphere of a Society meeting.Roll on the next meeting!Ruth B Jones
How does this tape recorder work?During the morning members listened to a recording of a radio programme about Captain Cook
