The voyage was a commercial venture. Unofficially sanctioned by the Admiralty, there was, however, no requirement to lodge a muster roll with the authorities and I don’t believe one has survived. Robert Galois, in his book, A voyage to the North West side of America, mentions, on page 289, several of the men, mainly officers. He reckons there were 35 men on board.

I am trying to find the crew list of the ship Prince of Wales captained by James Colnett who had served under James Cook. The ship left England on the 23rd September 1786 destined for the Pacific Northwest to obtain furs to take to China. Can anyone help ?
