Our first meeting for 2025 saw another interesting, busy and informative meeting, with 11 members present, and almost as many apologies! The attendees were thankful for the State Librarian and staff of State Library of NSW for accommodating us; the map room used was most appreciated. The formal AGM was soon completed with no real changes to report.. A report was given on the distressing and mindless desecration of the Cook statue at Randwick, in the lead up to Australia Day along with the police photo of the suspects. Our main focus for the day was a "Show and Tell" session with six members giving their most interesting reports.
All in all a most interesting day!
