250 years ago on 11 June, 1768, the newspaper, St. James's Chronicle or the British Evening Post, London, reported, “The Dolphin man of war being dismounted at Deptford, was paid off Yesterday, and laid up”. 

John Kelly joined Endeavour as cook, and Christopher Coleman as cook’s servant.
Richard Pickersgill joined as Master’s mate, and Robert Taylor as Armourer.

Robert Stainsby and James Gray joined as ABs.
