The Endeavour Replica - 2003 UK Trip Remembered

Here are some items from my collection of Endeavour photos. They were taken in July 2003, roughly north of Norfolk. It's very strange to be on any tall ship when there is no wind. Everything just flops about uselessly. The Captain reminded us that 200 years ago "the other guy" would have had to sit it out, but Endeavour is never dull and we kept busy. We went swimming, did some maintenance and everyone had a voyage round Endeavour in the inflatable. That's only the second time I've seen her moving on the water. Drifting really, but so alive. As you see there were other people in the boat, one of us was already standing up and being told to please sit down and though the sea looks flat it's all heaving away underneath us.
