I recently went on a cruise around New Zealand that took me into Dusky Sound. This photo may give members some idea of the beauty and serenity of the place. I can understand how much Cook and his crew would have appreciated the restful ambience of that lovely spot after their experiences in the Antarctic on the Second Voyage.
